Affiliation
A condition of our beneficial recognition as a Community Amateur Sports Club is that we are affiliated to a recognised sport's governing body.
The Hartham Park Stické Tennis Club is affiliated to the Tennis and Rackets Association (T&RA), who have shown tremendous interest in a game that they recognise as a very close relation to Real Tennis, despite the many differences between the two.
At the heart of the similarity is the closed court - and the penthouse that forms an integral and very influential part of both games. Whilst Real Tennis is a game with a very long history, dating back to the Middle Ages, our upstart status has not inhibited Real Tennis players from around the World visiting and playing on the court and participating in some of our invitation tournaments.
We look forward to a close working relationship with the Tennis Committee of the T&RA, and welcoming their other affiliated members to play our version of the game
